BASE Jumping Display Team

During 2025 we expect to do a number of BASE jumping displays at Nizhuhe, and possibly other places in China.

BASE jumping displays in China often happen at short notice. Our aim to to develop a pool suitable of display team members we may call upon when displays are given approval to go ahead.

We are seeking out BASE jumpers of high experience who may be suitable to join our pool of display team members.

BASE jumpers suitable for our display team should have the following qualities:

  • A high level of BASE jumping experience and currency.
  • Has consistently demonstrated good judgement with a sensible and cautious approach to BASE jumping.
  • Has a long history of reliably jumping without incident.
  • Preferably a long-standing member of the BASE jumping community that we know well and have seen perform at our past events in China or elsewhere in the world.
  • Is able to follow event guidelines and will not jump beyond the limits set by organisers.
  • Capable of jumping on cue in front of spectators.
  • Proficient at both slider up and slider down/off jumps.
  • Has excellent object avoidance skills and always adheres to standard object avoidance practices.
  • Capable of landing in a small area without crashing into anyone or anything.
  • Preferably has expertise with wingsuits or aerials, but is still capable of flawlessly doing basic flat and stable jumps.
  • Should be comfortable jumping with smoke canisters if required.
  • Stands out as an asset to a display rather than a potential liability.
  • Has not been a problem for organisers in the past, and will not be a problem for organisers in the future.
  • Is able to abide by all local laws and be respectful of local customs and values.
  • Knows how to treat BASE jumping and BASE jumping displays with the high level of respect and caution that they demand.
